Morning TTC,

It's alright that you are NEW to yoga.

Yoga is not about how much you can bend forward/backward or just purely meditation. It's FUN if you are open minded, you'll be able to learn /benefit alot from it.

Hmm...I would recommend you to try Hatha yoga if you guys have zero experience in yoga.

In Hatha Yoga, you will get to learn all the basic yoga poses and the correct alignment in a slower pace which will lead/prepare you to all the other styles of yoga (e.g. Ashtanga / Vinyasa etc ) in the future. It creates self-awareness to our body. You'll feel very relax after the class.

As for Ashtanga yoga, most men like it because it's FASTER PACE and DON'T HOLD ON to the pose very long. And you get to SWEAT OUT ALOT. It's a good workout.

Well, you can request the yoga teacher to incorporate some Hatha and Ashtanga poses for the class if you wish to sweat and relax at the same time you have a feel of both styles.

But ask yourself, before you decide on either Hatha or Ashtanga, what's your goal or what do you want to achieve?

Cheers

Hi TTC,

I'm a certified Hatha yoga instructor, I also stay in a condo with a function room, and have been planning to teach the residents at my condo. Would you be interested to engage me for your condo? Do call me at 97484863.
I'm available anytime as my schedule is flexible. I work as a pharmacist as well, so I'm a healthcare professional. Rates will be reasonable and negotiable.

Sincerely,
Veil

Hi ttc,

I recommend u my teacher, Venky. I have been practising yoga for the past 5 years and found that he is still the most 'caring' and 'detailed' teacher with passion and love for his students. Getting the right teacher to start with is like striking a jackpot. I have and I hope u and your frds will too. Seen like I can't write u his blog here. If u need his contact, let me know. Thank you!
