Not yet. Hope this will never happen! other wise total disaster! TY now focus too much on promoting Kryyoga.Kryyoga should be only one of the option, not everything.TY should never reduce itself to Kryyoga

yes i agree. pilates, yin yoga, ashtanga led, pranayama & meditation etc. are also very important to us. different kind of practise can give us different benefits so must have a good balance. a lot of exsisting teachers' classes are very good. should be maintained. ty can add kryoga classes but shouldn't cut down other teachers' classes. that's unfair to those members who's been following some teachers' classes for a few years.

If you want to built huge muscle power and increase endurance, I recommend Kyoga. But if you seek out spiritualism through yoga, K-yoga may not be unsuited for you.

Kamal's muscular body is not yogi for me... I heard Hong Kong ppl like "work-out" type yoga. That's why he could success of his "yoga business".

There are 9 explicitly stated Kryoga style classes.. but some classes, like Hot taught by Kryoga instructors in Kryoga style, are not explicitly stated..

I mean in this week's RP schedule..

with the exception of Hot2, which is a fixed seq, Hot seq is up to each indv master to decide so if it is a Hot that is conduected by a Kryoga master, he can choose to do it normal hatha style or Kryoga style.

Yes the big chest / muscled kryoga folks can teach at True Yoga's fitness centers as fitness instructors instead.

actually...TF fitness room, sometimes...quite empty...dun have classes...dun know why...

TRUE group...should maximize the usage as well...ie, hold 11-12, or 2-3pm class there as well...

i know this may cross into True Fitness time, but why waste the space / when more members can enjoy yoga? or fitness on the whole?

I think among all the kryoga instructors, only master Kamal is the muscular type.

Don't think you get bulky by doing kryoga.. may be master Kamal does weights too

No Doubt

# Posted: 2 Mar 2010 16:33

Of course Master Kamal does weight exercise. Bulky build like that does not come with yoga poses kekekeke

Master Ganesh and Yaad, who was very good had to be sent on "rounds" to all the fitness centres to accomodate this new breed. It's so unfair. So many member miss MAster Ganesh class. Luckiky, Masters Raaj and Vicki are still around.

I saw a member was gather signatures and forcing other members to sign a petition TY to transfer Ganesh back. Are you the same person? I declined it (remember me?) though most of them signed uninterestingly because there was no reason to say no... but TY can find out who really attended his class regularly. They are not a stupid.

Did you confirm whether he want to come back to TY? If yes, I have nothing to say about this issue. Please go ahead.

If no... You should confirm him whether he likes his current job at TF and enjoys regular routine works and Sunday-off, before you start it. (TF close during festival seasons and he has less stress there, as I see it..)

If he come back, someone has to leave TY.
Also, he has less chanse to be fired as long as he works at TF. Do you want him to leave Singapore? Or can you support him by buying many PT sessions or can you make his class crowd at all times?

Sometimes, a meddlesomeness (kindness?) yield opposite effects. You should walk yourslef to the thing, do not ask someone to bring it to you.

working life is like a jungle.. if your class attendance is not as good or can't pull in PT students to bring the moolah in.. and not in the right political camp.. you will be asked to leave.. fact of life

Totally agree. He will come back when he become really a valuable master without anybody's sympathy.

I quite agree with Anon 18:21. MAster Ganesh might be happy at TF, why stir the calm water?

Thanks! I saw he came out from TF few days ago. He does'nt have bags under his eyes anymore and was walking with a light step. He looks fresh, healthy and young than before.
I guess TF's simple schedule suit his abilities and lifestyle. He has a chance to be a popular instructor because nobody compare him with other Indian master there.... Good luck Ganesh!

So has anyone experienced Senthil's class

Anonymous

# Posted: 5 Mar 2010 21:22

So alison, what is it about Senthil's class you want to know? He is a serious master you said, but so are the other masters. If you are familiar with the anatomy of a human body, you'd probably gain more from his classes as he likes to rattle off names which are just too "chiem" to the laymen.

# Posted: 6 Mar 2010 12:34

Thanks for that take on Senthil. was thinking of choosing him for PT so just scouting around for others' opinions.

Anonymous

# Posted: 6 Mar 2010 21:57

Alison, if you have 5 foc sessions frm the blackcard you can try out 2 or 3 masters then decide who to stay with. Senthil knows alot about the body and is gd with alignment, but I personally find him too matter-of-fact, ok to do his grp cls, but dun think i can tahan 50 1-to-1 sessions with him.

but dun think i can tahan 50 1-to-1 sessions with him.

I heard he is quite strict during PT. You mean that?

BTW, Has anyone changed PT master? Do you think it cause awkward relation with him?

Anonymous

# Posted: 6 Mar 2010 23:55

It is wise to first commit a small number of PTs with a master so it will not be awkward if one decides to switch master later...

Anonymous

# Posted: 7 Mar 2010 13:20

It means they don't mind if I take master B after finishing PT package bought from master A?

Anonymous

# Posted: 7 Mar 2010 19:42

May I know what is the purpose of having PT, is it that it is needed only for poses that we cannot master during normal class. What iis the cost like.

cheealison

# Posted: 7 Mar 2010 22:17

Yeah I think he's quite strict. However that's good-i can't cope with masters who're late for class. BTW I noticed that Senthil's not one of the popular masters at RP unlike the better looking ones is that right? Haha?

Anonymous

# Posted: 8 Mar 2010 08:09

cheealison popular in what sense? His classes are not always full is that what you mean? Well, if people only go for that master's class based on his looks, then they are so shallow, dont you think? Go because you enjoy the class itself and not his looks!!!

cheealison

# Posted: 8 Mar 2010 09:03

I agree Anonymous. I always go to his class because he's strict and always starts on time.
