cheealison Well, Master Vicky and Raaj also always start on time. They are very strict also. I have seen them not allow late members in, which is very good. These late members disrupt the class and is unfair for the rest of us who are on time and trying to benefit from the class. Senthil is also strict. He also manages well. Maybe just that members are wanting for a "cute" master, so Raaj and Vicki's classes are always more full. This does not mean Senthil is not good. It's just that girls want to "feast their eyes", you know what I mean?

Hahahah Raaj and Vicky are TY's buffet spread, take your pick. Eat as much as you want. So lame. Come on lah members, go to a good class, based on the teaching methods, which caters to your own body's needs. As simple as that.

I find the pace for sun salutation a bit too fast or rush... in Senthil's class.

I understand what you're saying. I will stay with Senthi cos I am familiar with his teaching which is very precise. He's also very helpful and makes it a point to correct his students' postures. Am thinking of whether to attend his HOT class tonight?

Cheealison, here you asked for feedback doing PT with Master Senthil, and in the other forum you are selling your TY membership, what is up?

cheealison

Hi to all TY mbrs! I attended classes at TY and TF using free pass few mths back and really enjoyed Gopal's lessons. His class is always lively and he is motivating and helpful to beginners. I find that I have improved a lot after gg for his classes. but I heard he is not teaching at TY anymore. Anyone knows where he is teaching now?

Thanks!

Cheealison, if you are a beginner, and as you can relate to Master Senthil's way of teaching, why not go ahead? You will learn plenty because he is detailed and helpful as you said. However, if you aim to learn advanced asanas, would be good if you first observe a few master's multi-level class. Good luck!

Cheealison
How many are a few? Before price increase, 50 sessions of off-peak pt go at the price of $60, and peak at $72 each. If you buy less, it'll be more expansive. Maybe you should ask around if anyone wants to let go of his/her pt.

Seems when Master Kamal is in town the other masters classes gets reduced, this arrangement is disruptive to non-kryoga students class schedules. Can TY management see that Master Kamal takes over the existing KrMasters classes instead? An alternative is to add more classes instead of "replace" existing master's classes.

Yeah precisely I haven't been to PP cos lotsa Master Kamal's classes.

cheealison # Posted: 9 Mar 2010 08:58 .. was thinking of maybe 10-20.

For the same amount of money perhaps can consider try out Iyengar yoga classes ( 1 hour PT = two 90 minutes Iyengar class?) which covers basic yoga asanas in great details, and allow one to appreciate yoga asana vs yoga lookalike workout. In TY, members have this idea the more sweat / vigorous the workout the better, so they can lose weight and look beautiful, hence yoga became a beauty treatment. Both practice are sound, depends on what is our objective. It is also good to be exposed to both approaches. Good luck!

There is no class schedule from 4pm to 6pm at studio C at PP Monday to Friday, anyone knows the reasons for this?

Not sure what's happening in TY. Attended MASTER Ankur's last class tonight from 7:45-8:45 (HATHA B) at PP. By 8:30 all the masters at least 80% from RP side had gathered at the lounge outside Studio A. Don't know if they were about to attend a meeting.

Amongst those present were Yogi, Raaj, Vicky, Sudhir, Rajib, Adi, Shree.

To cheealison.

"Did they pose any problem to you?"

Construction of sentence by Anonymous is correct.
