Hi Mike,

Any exercise can help you to loose weight. Yoga is one of them. However, loosing weight in a healthy and lasting manner is most recommended.

Loosing weight requires one to change your lifestyle completely. Change your eating habits, your daily activity, your mind activity and of course your physical activity is helpful to make sure you have a complete rewired lifestyle.

I practise Sivananda Yoga. Our teaching help to guide us on 5 points of yoga.
1. Proper Exercise
2. Proper Breathing
3. Proper Relaxation
4. Proper Diet
5. Positive Thinking and Meditation

If you can embrace all these points in your life, loosing weight will come naturally and hopefully it will stay a lifetime.

How much time it requires to lose weight practicing yoga? I want to lose weight, tried different weight loss tips, but useless. I last i think its good to go with yoga. So please give me suggestion.
