I have not tried absolute yoga before. But i heard positive feedbacks from my colleagues. I am not sure how they sell their lessons. But as according to my colleague, she go once a week only. She find the packages offered was perfectly fine for her. And she is quite happy with the environment & facilities provided.

Reading the few postings before your post above, I felt there are good exchanges of opinion and information. Why do you laugh, what is so funny?
Who us speaking nonsense and rubbish except YOU?

Real Yoga Real Sweet talk. Masters and consultants alike. Before signing contract everything ok. after signing don't care anymore. Emphasis on instructors winning competition all the time so what. Doesn't mean they are the best or they can teach just a bunch of competition freaks

Hello there.. just wanted to let everybody know of how bad a certain yoga outlet is at telok ayer. as a member for most of this year i was shocked when i tried out a session at telok ayer. for amount we pay, I have never seen such a tiny unit trying to squeeze in that many ppl. the showers are communal, and you have to walk pass waiting students in your towel in order to get to the 'changing room'.. you even have to bring your own padlock, cos they're too cheap to install a proper locker system or renovate the place to make it more comfortable for both men and women to enjoy..
disgusted.

There's a new studio tt opened at Liang Seah Street, just opposite Bugis Junction. Opposite my favourite Ah Chew's dessert!!!! Its called Yoga space.
Its not a big place, but has two yoga studios. With shower facilities. I popped by for awhile tt day, seems they have quite a good range of classes. They've got a trial - $22 for 2 classes but i havent gone yet.
Anyone has ?? Comments ???

I know it is Absolute Yoga ... it is indeed not that good. I went for trial class there also ... I was quite shocked at the common shower

the Absolute Yoga studio at Telok Ayer does leave a little to be desired. Their River Valley Studio is much, much better. They really should do something about the facilities at Telok Ayer. But at least the quality of the instructors is high.

that one i dun know but judging from the pics - looks like a cool, hip little boutique place...
apparently they also hold yoga retreats, events...see pics inside website
but their location a bit ulu, ie west side, so if u are living in hte east, or up north....may not be the nearest....

??? - money is relative ar...some people buy Lambo think is cheap, some buy QQ, pay through the nose....
but pricing is not that $ $ , got per class and per month package...more or less there...cannot run one....
i think those instrucator in their private homes lagi more $ $ $, yoga centres still not that $ $

no worries....
what is lacking is that i feel,,,not much feedback....or comments on the boutique class / schools...
nobody really know wat is going inside...very sian / sick to hear those same gossip - who sleep with who . who seduce who stories at TY....
we should write more about our experiences / thoughts on learning yoga instead!

totally agreed rickosw. If only all were so sensible like you. Are you TY member?

yes i am a TY memeber and i go to TY RP, i maybe be "blind" but seriously, i dun see any "action drama" as told by some..ie bikini babes...or hot aunties....but then maybe i really bo chap, go in , learn and do my best....i be honest...there are some language "barrier:" so u really need to concentrate and listen...n see the instructor...
n not let your mind wonder off with impure / funny thoughts...

let me add more, before i get burned...
...n see the instructor...
wat i meant is...see his posture, absorb his teachings, not jus checkin his / her hot body...or cute smile...
but there are some who do...nothing wrong...also...we are all humans...
just dun go beyond what u should or should not do...
have some morals
GOD LOVES U ALL (whoever GOD is to you) - must put disclaimer.
